Emily lives in Houston, Texas. She has been with her boyfriend, Mikey for four years, and they have two miniature dachshunds (Huxley & Duke) and a cat (Booger). She loves how Mikey “knows when I need something before I even know I need it.”

One of Emily’s favorite hobbies is singing. “I sang at a bar in downtown Indy for a stint and miss it so much. I’m always up for karaoke.” Additionally, one of the items on her bucket list is to visit Banff, Canada. She’d love “to live in a cabin in Banff for a month with my person and our animals. We shut off all social media and focus on our favorite things – music, photography, hiking and delicious food.”

Her favorite quote is from Marcus Aurelius, “When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”

Emily has been photographing weddings since 2018. “I love being there for a couple. I have been in the service industry since high school and there is something so special about serving two humans at your fullest capacity on a day that shapes their lives.” She describes her style as a wedding photographer as authentic, detailed, and romantic.

Emily’s advice to couples on their wedding day is simple – “Let the little things go and enjoy your person.”
